Healthcare Services We provide dental healthcare services in accordance with applicable laws and professional standards. Our services include examinations, treatments, preventive care, and related healthcare communications.

SMS Text Messaging Program
Program Description We offer an SMS text messaging program to improve patient communication and care coordination. This service allows us to send appointment reminders, treatment follow-ups, and important health information directly to your mobile phone.
Consent and Enrollment By providing your mobile phone number and opting in to receive text messages from Smile Bar Inc., you:
Expressly consent to receive text messages at the number provided
Confirm that you are the owner or authorized user of the mobile phone number
Understand that consent is not required as a condition of receiving healthcare services
Agree to these SMS Program Terms
Message Types and Frequency Message Types: You may receive the following types of text messages:
Appointment reminders and confirmations
Treatment follow-up instructions and care reminders
Important practice updates and health information
Prescription reminders and post-treatment care instructions
Occasional practice announcements related to your care
Frequency: Message frequency varies based on your treatment schedule and health needs. Typically, you will receive up to 4 messages per month. During active treatment periods, you may receive additional messages.
Message and Data Rates Message and data rates may apply as determined by your mobile carrier. Smile Bar Inc. does not charge for text messages, but your wireless carrier's standard messaging and data rates will apply. Contact your mobile carrier for details about your specific plan and rates.
Supported Carriers This service is available to customers of participating carriers in the United States and Canada. Supported carriers include but are not limited to: AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, Sprint, Rogers, Bell, Telus, and other major carriers. Message delivery is subject to carrier availability and network coverage.
Opt-Out Instructions You can opt out of our SMS program at any time by using any of these methods:
Text "STOP" to any message you receive from us
Call our office at (403) 246-1002 and request removal
Email us at hello@smilebar.ca with your opt-out request
Inform our staff during your next visit
After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message, and then no further messages will be sent to your mobile number unless you opt in again.

SMS Program Limitations Please understand that:
SMS messages should not be used for urgent medical needs or emergencies

We are not responsible for delays or delivery failures caused by your mobile carrier
You are responsible for notifying us of changes to your mobile phone number
Privacy and Confidentiality Your mobile phone number and text messaging preferences are kept confidential in accordance with HIPAA and our Privacy Policy. We do not share your mobile information with third parties for marketing purposes. However, please note that text messaging is not a completely secure form of communication.
Appointment Policies
Scheduling
Appointments are scheduled during regular business hours
Emergency services may be available outside regular hours
Please arrive 10-15 minutes early for appointments
Cancellation Policy
Please provide at least 24 hours notice for cancellations
Late cancellations or no-shows may result in a fee
Repeated no-shows may result in dismissal from the practice
Payment and Financial Policies
Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements are made
We accept cash, check, and major credit cards
Insurance claims will be filed as a courtesy, but payment is ultimately your responsibility
Returned checks may incur additional fees
